Annual Turkey Trot
Enjoy the end of the golf season at The Links at Mass Golf. This 18-hole team event is open to all members, family and friends and features a fall-themed meal and prizes after golf. The cost is $25 per player. Players can sign up in advance at the Pro Shop or by calling 508-222-0555.
Format: 18 Hole "Lucky Ball" + One Best Ball: Each team will be given a "Lucky Ball" and this ball will be played on each hole by a different member of each team on each hole. You will record the score for the "Lucky Ball" for each hole. If you LOSE the "Lucky Ball" your team is entered into the Loser's Bracket. We have a prize for the winner of this bracket.
The other members of the team NOT playing the "Lucky Ball" will play their own ball and the team will record the best score of the other balls in play. For example, Steve, Tim, John and Bob are a team. Steve plays the "Lucky Ball" and makes a 4 (record this score). You will then record the best score of the three remaining balls: Tim makes 4; John makes 3; Bob makes 2. We will add this score to the "Lucky Ball" score for your score on each hole. In this case, the team would have made six on this particular hole. The lowest score wins the tournament. The lowest score in the Losers Bracket also wins that bracket.
